Hello Teller Families,

We hope your 2023 is off to a great start!

The Teller PTA strives to create an inclusive and well-organized community of parents and staff to support our kids. We want to improve communication and access to information so that both new and existing families feel welcomed and supported. With this in mind, we’re very excited to launch the Teller Elementary Parent Portal Website!

The goal of this website is to create a landing page where all Teller-related information can live and be easily found without having to ask someone or know the right contact. We hope that you’ll find it useful and a gateway to getting involved as a PTA volunteer or leader. Teller is special because of all of the community members who donate their time, talents, and resources.

We recognize that we all give and are involved in different ways, and we value all of your contributions to Teller.

Please take some time to explore the new site. Bookmark it, add it to your favorites, and share it with friends! Some highlights include:

  • Calendar Functionality. You can now download DPS, Teller, PTA + Dine-Out Night calendars directly to your google or icalendars.
  • Translation capabilities. You can read the content in your fluent language.
  • Spirit Wear. You don’t have to wait for in-person events. Place your order online and we’ll deliver your items directly to your child’s classroom.
  • Real-time opportunities to get involved. Access program and committee information, contacts, and sign-ups.
  • Step by step guides. We want to help you navigate the websites and sign-ups for enrollment, after-care, enrichment, schoolbucks, and school choice.
  • Connect. Access links to social networking sites and specific groups related to Teller and your grade-level classes.
  • Fundraise. Learn more about how the PTA raises money for Teller, and the many different ways that you can give.
  • Community directory. Opt-in to a non-public directory with faculty, parent, and student information. Connect with your child’s friends and family to facilitate time together outside of school.

Please create an account under the My Account tab on the Teller Elementary Parent Portal, verify your email, and then sign-up for the PTA. Your $20 membership fee directly contributes to the success of Teller and enables the PTA to give back to our amazing teachers and staff.

With new technology there can be a learning curve and we ask for your patience and understanding and welcome your feedback. You can access our FAQ’s below, and if you have any additional questions please email: membership@tellerpta.org.

We hope that you enjoy the new Teller Elementary Parent Portal!

Thank you,

The PTA Board

Directory Guidance

We respect your privacy and want to remind you that only members of our school community have access to our directory. Our PTA Admins review every new account and will only grant access to current families.

We understand if you'd like to opt out of the directory altogether or omit some part of your contact information. However, we encourage you to consider leaving parent and child names so that other families can search by class to set up playdates, birthday parties and get-togethers.

Here's what you need to do:

Go to https://tellerpta.membershiptoolkit.com

Click on the Register/Login button and register with your preferred email address.

  • Once logged in, if you are not prompted to update your data, click the ACCOUNT link in the top right corner of the site.
  • From there you will be able to click on both Family Information and Directory Publish Preferences and update as needed.
  • You and your partner / other family member will be part of the same household and $20 family membership if both emails are listed.

FAQ's February 8, 2023

What if I already have a membership?

That is great! We still ask that you create an account on The Parent Portal as we begin our transition to the new site. We can tag your membership on the back end. If you’d like to join the PTA again to signal your support of our efforts, the additional $20 is appreciated.

What is the PTA Membership calendar cycle?

We adhere to the school year calendar.

How do I gift a teacher a membership?

Add a teacher membership to your cart and we will email you a code to gift to your teacher.

What if I don't want my information published?

You can absolutely opt out of the directory while still having an account on our site and joining the PTA. The personal information fields are optional.

Who can get access to the student/parent directory?

Our PTA Admins approve all access to the directory so only current or alumni families and faculty will have access. We also offer scholarship memberships through school leadership.

What if I donate to Teller via Simply Giving?

You can continue to give via Simply Giving through May 31, 2023. We will email you before then to transition your donations to Membership Toolkit.

Do I have to join the PTA to use the new site?

You don’t. However, the donation to our PTA supports our hard work and efforts toward strengthening our school and adds your voice to the table. We hope you will consider joining.

If I order Spirit Wear, how will it be delivered?

All orders will be dropped off to your child’s classroom on Friday of the week you placed your order.

Why are you asking for my employer information?

This helps us to maximize our fundraising efforts via corporate matching. If you do not wish to share this information it is optional and can be left blank.
